A: Blogs are online diaries of events or journals. Blogs can be about anything. Groups, singers, and celebrities have blogs which let people know about their life and what they are doing. Blogs are also used by politicians and for collecting public opinion about certain topics. an advantage is you can share things with friends etc but a disadvantage is anyone can view your blog and know what your doping etc. They are also easy to update. They are simple to set up. Are multimedia.
Wiki is a web page that can be viewed and modified by anyone who has a web browser. This means if you have web browser software you can change the content of a web page. The problem with this is that you can alter the web page to post offensive messages etc. Updated easily with only a web browser. Allow people to work together and collaborate in different countries etc
Social networking sites: these are virtual communities of people who communicate about a particular subject or interest or just make friends with each other. Members of these sites create their own profiles with information about themselves such as hobbies, likes, and dislikes etc. You have to ensure that you do not reveal too much information about yourself as other can view this information. e.g. paedophiles etc.

A: Companies:
Advantages: You can reach a wider target audience e.g. people who cant make it to your shop. Also its easier for customers to access the sop if some things wrong etc. Don't need as many employees.
Disadvantages- you have lowered prices as there's increased competition with other shops. have to employ people to keep the online shop working well etc.
Customers:
Advantages: They don't have to travel to the shops to get what they need. Also lower prices online because there's more competition. More products available.
Disadvantages: Problems with delivery. Things broken etc. Customer cant have instant availability.

A: Advantages of allowing employees to use the internet are should be able to use communication methods such as instant messages. etc Can complete work quicker.
Disadvantages: distractions, can access inappropriate sites which are nothing to do with the work. Security risk.
Advantages to students are access to a huge amount of sources of information, e.g. journals books and new stories. You can access large amounts of data very quickly. You can do surveys and questions easily whilst accessing a wide audience.
Disadvantages: You can just copy and paste someone else's work. You may find inaccurate and factually incorrect.
